Just had my 38x24 ft garage floor completed by Team Red Coatings, Greeneville, Tennessee. Floor looks fantastic! Team leader. Michael with his associates Nathaniel, Jordan and Nathadron all did a great job. Professional installation was completed in about 6 hours. It turned a 20-year-old stained concrete garage floor into a very attractive garage area that we are proud of.

Michael, Jay and Brian did an awesome on our front and back porches. They were on time, professional, confirmed what they were going to do before starting and explained each step of the coating process. They worked hard, taking no breaks until they had to for the drying needed before the last step. They did an excellent job and we are very pleased with our porches now. Also shout out to Kim. I don't normally write reviews unless they're exceptional for some reason and never bad ones because that old saying "if you don't have anything good to say....", and I always hope small businesses succeed and if I had a bad experience, hopefully they'll improve. I thought Team Red Coating deserved a special shout-out because they exceeded everything I'm used to in dealing with local contractors. First, Mike, the head guy, showed up when he said and went over every possible option we had and had personal authority to offer discounts to fit into my budget. We agreed on doing my garage floor in a polyurea/polyaspartic coating in evolution flake and part of my driveway with Sundek Classic texture in a smoke color. We scheduled for about 3 weeks out but he called twice before then saying they could start earlier and we did start 1 week ahead of schedule. That is amazing this day and age when most contractors don't show on time or call to tell you why. Anyway, the crew doing the garage floor completed the whole thing in 1 day and even coated my steps and base boards at no extra cost. Cleaned up after themselves and returned the next day to make sure everything turned out ok and made sure I was satisfied. We weren't ready to do driveway yet because I had a swimming pool liner install going on and didn't want to block access. When that was complete, I called Mike and he sent over driveway crew the following Monday. That project took 3 days because base layers had to set before top coat. Jordan, the lead tech, arrived early and introduced himself and explained exactly what they were going to do and helped to coordinate how to get my vehicles in and out because we couldn't drive on new surface for 3 days. He was very detail oriented and made sure his guys got everything perfect. Of course, this is just an initial review and time will tell how durable these coatings are but I am very pleased with their communication and quality work thus far would recommend them to anyone

We had our 180 year old farmhouse's porch, steps and walkway covered two years ago. We have been please esthetically with the quality and endurance that the covering has shown. However, we were not pleased with the walkway because it was slick because we needed "more grit" placed in the covering. We called and they came back and redid the walkway for an additional cost because it wasn't what we had previously requested. The top layer started to come off, and we notified them of this. They immediately came back and redid the walkway, and it solved our issue because it has not been slick even with the previous snow and ice that we have received in the last month. We have been very pleased with Team Red Coating customer service and attention to our needs. We would and have recommended them to family and friends who have also had good experiences with the quality of their work.

Had the team come a few years ago to do the garage and driveway. Recently notice a crack and fading in a couple of spots. Called and got on the schedule for assessment and when the tech arrived, he got right on it and fixed the issues. Granted there is a variations on color in those spots but you can't match something from 3 years ago. Tech keep me on the loop from start to finish.

Team Red Coat did an outstanding job bringing life back to my pool deck. The deck was in sad shape with chipped concrete and paint, cracks and small pit holes from freezing. Team Red basically ground the surface to a smooth finish, applied a base coat to fill voids, added the non-slip texture, then painted and sealed. They kept their products off my new stone pool edges, cleaned up afterwards each day, communicated with me several times a day with updates. The wife and I couldn’t be happier. I had my garage and driveway done and things turned out great. I was skeptical because I thought there would be an odor from the paint in the garage but it was very little odor. The crew worked with me to make sure I was satisfied with the work. They aim to please and did a fantastic job. I had Kendal and his crew do the garage and Mike and his crew do the driveway. Everyone of them made sure I was happy with the work. Kim in the office was exceptionally helpful and understanding.

The two fellas just finished the floor and it looks fabulous they did a really good job and both gentlemen were very friendly and polite and professional.

All was well with the floor covering except the leveling of the concrete floor before putting the coat down. Now we have many dips in our floor in the garage and front porch when it rains or the car drips rain or snow on the floor. Messy to clean up if you don't sweep it up as soon as it gets rain on it. Wish we had just had our concrete smoothed and finished.

Weather issues had an impact on the initial application….Team Red made it right and it looks awesome….great customer service….really glad to work with a company that does an outstanding job with product warranty….will be using Team Red again this fall!

Team Red Coatings put a coating on our pool where the concrete was deteriorating on the surface, to replace that section of concrete would have been 50% more than getting the coating and the coating gives a better appearance, is cooler to the step and prevented the concrete from deteriorating anymore. I would definitely recommend Team Red Coatings to anyone that needs or wants a great job done.

It's a real treat to go in the garage and see our beautiful new floor! We chose a light color and are very happy with it, though in retrospect we should have chosen more grit to get a little better traction when the floor is wet. We absolutely love our new garage floor and the guys who put it down were top-notch -- there's not a spec of product on the walls or baseboards. While it's an extremely expensive process, we felt it's a great value for what you get. And I expected the whole house to smell of chemicals for weeks after, but the smell is minimal and never invaded our indoor space at all. It also dries quickly and we were back in our garage in just a few days. The dry surface wasn't quite as uniform as I expected but you won't notice it after a month of walking on it. It seemed like the top coat wasn't completely even in some spots, but it is definitely sealed well enough. There are a couple of "cons" to the process. First, you can't tell from a 6" x 6" sample which grit would be best for your application. They need to have some sheets of product (like on plywood, for instance) they can lay down -- even 2' x 2' would have told us what we needed to know to have chosen the right product instead of 'almost the right product' as far as the level of grit is concerned. It was a tiny bit tough to realize we spent all that money and made the wrong choice on the grit so we can still slide a little on a wet floor depending on the shoes we're wearing (but NOTHING compared to the dangerous, sealed concrete floor we had before!). Secondly, there no prep done to mitigate the dust that settled on all the surfaces -- walls, garage doors, garage door openers, items hung on the walls -- and they didn't mention it, either, so we had no opportunity to prepare our space for the microfine cement dust created by the grinding of the old surface in preparation for the new surface to be applied. Even using a fine paintbrush I was not able to get all the dust out of our garage door controls or other things hanging on the walls of the garage which I could have had masked off had I known there would be no such prep by their team. After the surface was dry, we were able to simply dustmop the walls and door, but we're still trying to get the dust off our garage doors (see picture for reference) even though we dusted it off with a broom and then washed the doors with a cleaning product on a sprayer hose. Again, we'd have laid drop cloth on top of those doors if we'd have known. We also had to oil the rollers since we couldn't get all the dust out of the door tracks. That all said, realize they do use a vacuum on their grinder to minimize the dust. But ten minutes and $2 of plastic drop cloth would have saved us probably two hours of cleanup if they'd just told us in advance what to expect. All told, we'd do it all over again and use the same Team Red Coatings folks. We have so many neighbors who are also happy with them that we didn't even get a quote anywhere else. If you do, be sure you compare the products and application methods so you know exactly what is offered. These guys use the best and are trained by the manufacturer. That's huge when you're working with specialty products like this.

Great experience from start to finish. We originally picked out a color, made a deposit with a date in the future. Between those dates we wanted to revisit the colors and made a different selection. Lee came back out to the house with samples and guided us to the perfect color. I just had Big Mike and his four man crew come out to do our front and back porches. They had to do some hard grinding to remove several layers of old paint before they could apply the final product. We had our patio done a few years ago by another company, who did not stand by there work, when there finish starting to come up and they refused to fix it, We had Team Red Coatings come in and redid the work and they did an outstanding job, and gave up an a great warrenty . From the quoting, selection of color and texture to the installation of the concrete coating, the team was professional, courteous and efficient. My outdoor concrete was ‘slippery’ when it got damp causing concern that someone might slip and fall. I also had stains and a few holes where wrought iron had been. I choose a color that coordinated with my brick and a medium texture to decrease the problem with being slippery. The coating looks great, stains are covered, holes were filled and texture will improve safety. Would highly recommend this team!
